The Bayleys Garden and Artfest showcases the region's finest gardens and artists from private courtyards through to sprawling estates. The event has been growing steadily and now brings in thousands from outside the region who flock to the beautiful gardens located all around the Bay of Plenty.

The 2006 event was heralded as a great success by organisers, visitors and sponsors.Over 80 of the region’s most beautiful gardens were open to the estimated 8,000 visitors over a four day period. The gardens provided a unique backdrop for the largest display of local artists with venues from small urban courtyards to rambling country estates.
